The Delta Survey 2009-2015
The Egypt Exploration Society Delta Survey, supported by the British Academy, has been documenting sites in Lower Egypt since 1997, building on a base of data collected in earlier years. Information on these sites has been published through the dedicated website of the Survey (http://deltasurvey.ees.ac.uk).
This volume deals with three sites selected for more in-depth investigation after initial inspection revealed features of particular interest: Tell Yetwal wa Yuksur, Kom ed-Daba, and Tell Buweib.
Since its outset, the Survey has made visits to 122 Delta antiquity-mounds, carried out mapping surveys or augur drilling at 35 and selective excavations at six.
